ID checks for away tickets

Wait and see...
Many, many more things will require this "voluntary" digital ID.
When your bank knows every penny spent, the supermarket knows what bog-roll you use and there's a digital tracking device in your pocket... what are you volunteering to keep secret?
Not you personally mate. Everybody. There was an argument against ID cards in the '90s, but not now.
Does this mean any fans living more than say 40 miles from the SoL shouldn't get home game tickets either?
Don't say that mate. I live 3 miles from Spuds and the Arse, and travelling 600 miles is the only way I get to see us play! ;)

I know, not at me.
But when it links to social credit scores, then its game over.
Meanwhile, criminals, illegals and other groups remain at large.

This could get all big brother in the end. Imagine if they start to cross reference purchases in the ground against names on tickets. West Ham for example, I admit I did go in on another persons ticket who couldn't attend, but then I spent with one of my cards in buying a round of drinks. Officially I wasn't in that ground, yet I spent money in there.
