ID checks for away tickets

still nowt here.

doesn't really matter, i've got my ID. just about to leave

just don't want to miss the email like i did at brighton and miss the first 10 mins. i'll be checking constantly between now and the game

When I've had the mails, they've come around 5pm the day before the match.

ID checks today in the North Stand on who is sitting in specific seats ..stewards accosted two or three in out block saying they didn't fit the type of adult/child the ticket was sold too. One lad sitting in a child ticket and viese versa .it created more of a problem than it was worth. Some arsenals is scanning the seats now. A lad who stewards made remove a shirt he had worn every home and away match these past two seasons during the Mags game was contacted by the club asking to explain himself. He contacted the Club but they have not responded to his reply.. He intends to go legal over it ( daughters a solicitor) if the Club want to push it
I must be missing something obvious.

What did the lad have to explain to the club?
it's not my place to say other than its Not been a problem to those others who sit beside him. Not offensive as if it had been he would have been asked to take it off way before the Mags game.
We aren't asking for your endorsement of the shirt content, like - just a witness statement of fact. We'd be happy if you add, "This does not confirm either my support for, or criticism of, the shirt." 😉

Im not down Spurs. But am down Everton and leaving on Friday afternoon.
No ID will be taken as is my right. So if I do get an email and a bank card isn't acceptable.

Well have a problem..... 😁
Remember. You’re also well within your rights not to carry your ticket with you.

I’d leave that at home as well. Don’t let these buggers push you around.

Checking that people are sitting in the right seat seems over the top like. There's an easy way to tell if someone is coming in on a concession ticket and that's when they scan it upon entry to the ground. Staff that correctly and there's no issue.

In my position, I sit with a couple friends and their family. A few years ago a seat came up to the left of my mate, at the end of our group, so I bought it for my son. He doesn't sit there next to a random and my mate, him and my mate swapped seats. Can't really be arsed explaining that to the stewards though. We have a group of seats, we all have the right age range, they can verify that at the turnstiles

Bit strange checking Seats like. The bairn didn't go to the match on Sunday as ill, but a mate who was sitting a few rows back (legitimate bought ticket) came and sat in her seat to be next to us.
Presumably they only checked where said bairns ticket would be scanned

And re this shirt, was it also north stand? If so , did it say fuck the mags but with a few letters swapped!!?:lol:
