Ibrox

I was just about to post about the brick and glass facade. I'm not a huge fan of anything Old Firm, but, the Ibrox exterior is a thing of beauty.
The other side isn’t anywhere near as nice but still interesting compared with some identikit stadia.

and quite a few other clubs tbf.
Some of which, like us, are in new homes now.
Was looking to buy his book last week, over £60 on eBay. Was involved in the design of about 60 grounds from memory. Ironically, the design of ibrox damaged his reputation due to the tragedy.

Palmerston Park is my favourite in Scotland, a canny mix of covered and open terrace, olde worlde stand and a newish one. I really like how steep the seats are at Tynecastle, mind, the front sections around the touchlines make you feel you're more or less on the pitch.

In England, the comfy seats in the Emirates edge it for me.

Try Awesome books for a used copy, I've had some very good book bargains from them, a web search will also supply names of other companies that have it "used"

I can well imagine, both teams have great home atmosphere and seem to put a lot into making the match day experience a brilliant one. I can’t imagine we were listed very high up. Sometimes I feel we’re trapped in a grey concrete crypt in the SoL. If I’m in corporate I then feel like I’m in an 80s working mens club and not a nice one.

The other I've used is Abe books, and Simon Inglis did a book on his grounds work so you may get that cheaper
That’s the one, Engineering Archie by Simon Ingliss, it’s £66 on Abe too. Must be very rare. I’ll keep an eye out, one will pop up cheap before long, thanks 👍

There has been one or two purchases I've picked up that have initially been quoted at around that figure but within a couple of days I was offered them for about a tenner with free p&p. The quality of the used books was also top whack, it's amazing how some of the rare out of print ones turn up for that price so just sit & wait :)

Another to try is Amazon for used books you may get it cheaper there!
