Poveda is a lovely footballer and an excellent free transfer signing . At 24 , he can be idolised here. I see him as an asset to the squad. I hope he can get match fit quickly and maintain a high level of fitness in this very competitive league . Well done Stuart Harvey. I hope he can link up with Roberts like Diallo did. We need his quality.

Was just about to post the same, just watched a few clips of the lad and thought he could maybe get roberts firing on all cylinders like amad did. Very similar styles but obviously amad had the end product so see how it goes.

He's done pretty well for himself in academy football, youth international and made a good impression last year by all accounts. Like all players ill judge myself when i see him play for us but i suspect he'll be cover for each and possibly a replacement for clarke if he's away.

Lets be realistic, whoever has to replace clarke will not be nearly as good

I don’t think there is anyone who is expecting that. The consensus seems to be that he is likely to leave but I haven’t seen anyone say we need to replace him with better.

Still think it's staggering he's managed to get a 4 year contract given his recent injury record and number of appearances.
 
I don't get why he's going for the cartel chic look he was born in London ffs. Anyways, hope it doesn't mean it is prelude to Clarke departing.
