I've just watched @10 Trenches Deep match review of our game at Blackpool from a couple of years ago.

Some of his skill going forward look great but it highlighted that he isn't great at tracking back and picking up his man. Got me wondering if he would be most suited to a role behind the striker in that AM sessegnon role.
Impressed with that research mind.

Trenches analysis is t often wrong either .

TBF, after watching his interview video on SAFC he comes across as genuinely happy to have signed for us.
Seems a good lad 👍
Best of luck Pov, welcome to Sunderland.
Face lit up when speaking about the treatment he's received from Stuart Harvey, which is seemingly very positive.

Fingers crossed it works out well for him. Roberts certainly needs some actual competition on the right hand side.

Clearly signing someone doesn’t rule out signing others, but I’d quite like us to sign a striker now please.

Best of luck Pov la.

It’s absolutely not a wind up.

I haven’t seen enough of Mundle and he had a decent rep from spurs fans but ba isn’t up to it.

If he’s to play back up to Roberts and Clarke then fair enough.

But if he’s a replacement for either I’d be concerned.

He's done pretty well for himself in academy football, youth international and made a good impression last year by all accounts. Like all players ill judge myself when i see him play for us but i suspect he'll be cover for each and possibly a replacement for clarke if he's away.

Lets be realistic, whoever has to replace clarke will not be nearly as good

He's had some youth career 😳, now I know kids move between academies but never known anything like this. Also England youth career and now a full Columbian international. 24 year old journeyman🤣

2007–2010
Chelsea
2010–2012
Arsenal
2012–2014
Barcelona
2014–2016
Brentford
2016–2019
Manchester City

one of the players who transformed sheff wed last season. Let’s hope he can carry on that sort of form with us

I remember that game. Here it is. A nice trip to happier times and a focus on Poveda of 18 months ago. Terrific going forward, bit of a headless chicken ball chaser out of possession to the detriment of the Full Back behind him that day. Get some discipline into his defensive play and he could be very good for us.
