Mundle plays from the left. Ba can play a number of positions (kind of). Good competition for Roberts if he can stay fit.

Equally there's fans saying he's excellent on the strength of a couple of YouTube clips.

End of the day I think someone with his recent track record deserves a bit more scrutiny?

I'm not I'm putting fairly reasoned points based on his lack of games and poor injury record.
And there will be literally no way we've broken our wage cap to bring him in.

That does seem an excessive demand. I wonder how much Wednesday offered him versus how much we offered him. The musnt have been anyone else in for him or prepared to offer remotely close to what he wanted. He's obviously had to take a massive reality check.

Their opinion of him being good will do for me. I've also seen him with my own eyes and I liked the look of him. I see him as competing with Roberts for the rw position. And aye Hopefully he can stay fit. I genuinely have no idea of his injury history. If it's a recurring thing there's obviously a risk like I'll admit.

you are doing the troll thing of moving between different negative arguments rather than engaging with the points made.
Poveda is a high profile, by championship standards, free transfer, he had at least one other large club in this division wanting him..such players dont come cheap. He must have had a good lump sum signing on fee for a start..and he wont be cheap wages for this division...this wage cap..does it exist anywhere in reality or just in your head? We have been able to offer other high profile and sought after championship players such as Ballard new contracts..so our wage budget cant be that restricitve.

Clarke, Neil - yes. Balllard (when fit, maybe).

Lots and lots of question marks over many of the squad in the midfield and attacking third even if there is some talent there.

People are getting carried away because of the new head coach and positive approach, but we're so far away in a few areas for it to make a significant difference, without one or two really capable additions.

That's not a bad starting point. Get a striker in, maybe a centre half, rotate a couple. Rigg, Povada, Adil, Ba on the bench...
