Simialar to Roberts before he came though, never really found his “home” has he?

Roberts form just massively dipped from the moment Amad left, would love to see it come back but personally think his time with us is up.
I’m hoping with a full preseason and renewed determination he might play well this season

Don't rate Poveda from what I've seen of him over the last couple of seasons. He may have played better over the whole and may well have improved though. He wouldn't get in our team, so at 24 yrs old I can't see the point in the purchase?

Feels like a sideways move for the bench over a real drive to improve the first 11. Saying that, Roberts didn't pull up any trees last season so does need competition.

I guess both Ba and Jewi will be on the phone to their agents wanting away if this lad comes in.

He is shite and has an abysmal attitude. When on loan at Blackpool the Leeds loan manager had arranged to meet up with him and he turned up an hour late for the meeting.

Wages...but still seems somewhat of a pointless signing for the same reasons. Who knows? If he comes we'll all support him and hope he's a world beater, but he's behind Roberts, Ba, Mundle, Clarke, Aouchiche and pushes Watson further down the pecking order when we should be developing him.

All these creative players and no-one for them down the middle to create for.

The mind boggles.

A counter point: a Sheff Wed supporting mate of mine would be devastated at losing out on him and said he’s the most technically gifted player he’s seen in 20 years

Struggle to remember where I've picked this up but I'm sure people reference his bad attitude, have a vague memory of Danny Collins highlighting him as being poor at tracking back against us too that gave us much more space
