Still I have to remind myself we were bottom of the League in November after a 4-0 thrashing at Colchester. That night I would never have thought of the transformation.

I would take another season in this league if it meant a new start with decent owners.
Definitely things are happening. Just need it out in the open and enough time for Holloway to plan a promotion campaign next season.
Now that would just be magnificent ️

Then there's the discussion over how to play succesful football with the players you have. A good pitch sometimes suits a footballing side but some teams are more effective on surfaces that don't.

True, Bassett's Wimbledon could have played on a ploughed field, but I think Mr. Holloway is a bit more get it down and play, or at least he used to be.

That was one example of teams setting a pitch to suit their style, various teams leave the grass slightly longer to slow flowing passing,some overwater & some shorten/lengthen/widen their surface to suit [think Luton]. The pitch is an aspect home teams can dictate to gain advantage. IH has the right belief but others will set their pitches to get in the way.

I'm pretty sure Real Madrid did it a few times based on which players they had, MU under SAF also. Then you got the poxy in your face teams that tightened a game up so much

You'll still be here when Champions Lge qual 2030 is attained man, your prospective new owner will put a bite on Ancelotti coming in when IH hangs his cap up.

That's probably why they're planning to direct club finance to the pitch. Everything in football happens for a reason

Just going to run out of games.
One of the most important close seasons for years. New ownership will see a big upturn in fans returning to support the Club once again.
It would be incredible to rid the club of the scum.

Obviously thought they weren't match-fit enough at the start/early part of last season & wants to get his playing ideas across to them early for the season ahead.

If you like football you can't help liking Mr H no matter who you support.

Didn't know he had that Lymphoma problem, hope it's being controlled. The game needs characters like him.
