He's got no hair... but I don't care... cause I love Matty Prior..
He scores a six and catches all the nicks... now I love Matty Prior.
Got robbed on tour.. but they made sure(?) ... that I went home so happy..
He give me his shirt and lessened the hurt(?) ... now I love Matty Prior..
Now he scores a four and I know for sure... that I love Matty Prior..
With the Ashes in his pocket he's England's pocket rocket.. now I love Matty Prior..

The bloke singing that has had his tea at his house now apparently! When England win the Ashes last year Prior jumps into the ground and hugs him.

can't make out the chant the bloke ends with on that video. Anyone know it?

Something to do with Priors' missus perhaps? "Is she really going out with him?". Colly and Jimmy found it hilarious once they figure it out :lol:

It's Joe Jackson 'Is She Really Going Out With Him'. Gets sung at quite a few couples at the games.

I remember on Day 5 of that Durban game there were probably less than 1,000 in as South Africa were 8 down on Day 4. Prior's superfan had a box that day and lent over the edge of the balcony on his own with his can and belted out that song with the rest of the ground totally silent watching him, you could see Collingwood, Swann etc in the slips hammering Prior about it :-)

I love the way the England players genuinely seem to enjoy the craic with the supporters and appreciate their support. Not the sort of thing one would associate readily with their footballing counterparts. ;-)
