I’m just sitting watching flowers in the rain ...

One for the green fingered amongst us.

I have been watering plants for a few weeks during the recent dry and warm spell but they still looked yellow and a bit rough.

It’s rained for a bit and they perk up!

How does that work then? A greater surface area is receiving rain? The leaves are being soaked too?

Your not watering enough. Are you using tap water?

Get the fire brigade, get the fire brigade .............

It’s not ideal like same with me. But I fill the butt (water that is not my ass hole) with tap water once a week and let it stand over night then use that to water for rest of the week. The chlorine and other chemicals dissipate iirc.
Thank you I will try that when I next fully empty my butt.

By the end of today I’ll have too much water, after I empty the abandoned paddling pool.
