I would be it’s clear as day now that Reggie uses him as a last resort. Won’t be here in a few weeks time. I’m hoping he does the right thing if alderete is indeed out on Friday move nordi to centre back where he’s just as good and move huuuuuume into right back. We’d be a lot stronger with that line up than having onien paired with Ballard.

He could conceivably play left back. For all the grief O’Nien and Diarra have received for various incidents yesterday Reinildo also had a poor game. McGinn is a good player having an excellent season and he gave Reinildo the run around yesterday. By his own standards Reinildo also was also below par against Spurs imo, maybe he’s carrying a knock but Hume proved against Newcastle he can perform well in either fullback position.

Read this a few times on here but in his press conference last week RLB said his attitude is really positive and pretty much that it's fine margins deciding between him and O'Nien.

Geertruida-Ballard-Mukiele-Hume for me. Reinildo been off it slightly. I actually think we miss Hume when he's not on the pitch, just for his tenacity. Never thought i'd say that.
For some unknown reason he hasn't performed like he did pre-AFCON. It's pretty odd tbh.
He had that injury as well, which he's still not looked right from. I'd still be inclined to play him there tho. Hume tries his best at LB and is a good understudy, but Reinildo is a proper LB and I hate square pegs in round holes.
