Hume

Always puts a shift in but tonight he was quality. Barely put a foot wrong. All of the back 4 were great but Trai MOTM for me.

Better at left back than right back because at right back he feels the urge to bomb on and then can't recover quick enough when we lose it up the field. At left back, he doesnt feel the same urge.

He’s a very good fullback and he’s proved that throughout the season. It’s only when he’s had to plug gaps that he’s not been at his best, I don’t blame him much for that. Just not his position but can’t ever knock his fight and attitude for the team

First class tonight. Feel hes better when hes playing as an orthodox fullback rather than a wing back on both sides like he did tonight and tackled, defended and tracked his man brilliantly all night.

He gets as much stick as anyone and he is actually incredibly consistent. Never shirks, never hides, never injured, smart enough to play half the positions on the pitch, combines well with others, strikes the ball about as clean as anyone in our side. Easy to forget how young he is given he's played pretty much every game for the past four years or so. 163 appearances - transfermarkt has his value at 18m - . Sure, he's never going to be a winger, but the fact that the coaches feel confident enough in him to play him anywhere along either side of the pitch says as much about him and his quality as it does about the lack of maturity/reliability of our other wide options.

Absolute warrior tonight

Gives absolutely everything he’s got for the shirt every time he plays

Huge player for this club.
Geertruda is supposed to be better according to some -I just don’t see it
