Got captains arm band as well... The Bris clearly rates the lad, but the on field product throws some serious questions on that... Does look like a backup at best in that position at this level.

Today wasn’t on him and he did a ok job defensively but you’re absolutely deluded if you think it isn’t affecting us having him RM.
Pass completion awful, breaks every single counter attack down.
It works a bit at home to due how on the front foot we are, away from it gets found out massively

I love huuuuuume but I do think gurty would play this hybrid role a lot better. He’s probably a better midfielder than Hume and they’re probably comparable as defenders. Reggie does seem to dig his heels in with certain things and Hume on the right of midfield seems to be the thing he won’t bend on. Just would love us to try gurty there, Liverpool wanted him for their right back woes and he’s played well as a midfielder for the clubs he’s played at.

A player having the lowest pass % does not immediately mean they’re an issue. It depends how much of the ball they’re having and also what they’re being asked to do with the ball
