How many points can we get?


Going with 13 points, 3 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats

Brighton (H) - win 3pts
Mags (A) - draw 1 pt
Spurs (H) - win 3 pts
Villa (a) - loss - 0 pts
Forest (H) - win 3pts
Wolves (a) - draw 1pt
Man U (H) - draw 1pt
Everton (a) - draw 1pt
Chelsea (H) - loss 0 pts

The next target has to be 50 points. That would be an astonishing achievement for a club promoted through the playoffs the previous season.

We only need half a dozen to be the highest ever for a newly promoted club
 
Good test for RLB to see if he can get the players motivated to bust a gut for a 7th or 8th place finish.
The only dead rubber we have is Brighton. All our other fixtures are against relegation desperados or teams above us going for Europe.
We have to keep it one hundred as the great football motivator T Swift says.....
 
I'm going to go for 52 points, finishing 8th - bit of an increase in our form of late to achieve that, but I think that we can make it happen
 
Before the match vs Dirty Leeds, there was another thread on predicting the final points tally.

My guess in that thread was 9 more points to get to 46, starting with a loss at Elland Toad.

In the spirit of consistency and holding my hand up for the wrong prediction, my new guess (after adding +3 for the win yesterday) is 49 points.

54 was my prediction I was at 57 but slightly lowered after losing 3 in a row…

Best Port Vale finally get a FA Cup home draw but it’s going to be against top 4 club my guess for a chance at Wembley Semi Final

It's only the injuries, which have a habit of taking longer recoveries than predicted, that are making me hesitant to say more.
