To be fair you could have said the same about Burnley this time last year who then sold Pope and McNeil for decent fees and reinvested. Could easily see Leicester doing similar with Maddison, Barnes and a few others. Tieleman and Evans out of contract so losing a couple of big wages there. With Vardy's age his contract looks more and more like a mistake financially but he may still do alright in the Championship.
He went to Everton, didn't last very long at that basket case of a club. Leicester replaced him with Lee Congerton so should we just shut down this line of questioning there?![]()
Burnley's masterstroke was appointing Kompany. It was a risk that paid off hamdsomely. I'm not sure Leicester will either appoint anyone as competent or have the capability in recruitment to emulate them. Paradoxically, to me, Southampton look best placed to bounce back.
