Sorry like mate but I don't believe it.
Bout half way down the page from a month ago.
I work for a housebuilder.
It was always gonna be temporary but there has been a dramatic shift.

Surely that's not a requirement but just to get a better rate?

No if you read it, they pulled a huge amount of "normal " mortgages out of the market altogether.
A lot of it was to do with them sorting out the mortgage holidays too apparently.
I think there is more normality now but I haven't checked tbh.

It's just the cost of houses down here man. Most of the houses on my road (I live in a flat) are worth more than a million. I wouldn't consider them to be vastly different to where my family used to live in Ambleside terrace in Sunderland. Not kidding.

Thought you were from Washington. Have I misremembered?

That's because they won't be, it's not the flat is where it's at. ;)

I’m remortgaging now and they’re getting back to normal.
