Its overcast and cold but thankfully no sign of any rain yet.

Houghton batting first.

13/1 off 5 overs. John has 8*, Beefy man to go for 4.

30/2 off 12 overs, John still there on 19*.

46/2 off 20, John 28*
 

Well done everyone we were excellent. Ed star man with the bat with a superb 54 but like lots of times this season there were contributions all over to get us to that total right down to Buttsy clobbering a few in the final over. I think we'd have been 80 all out had we played today's game a year ago.

And Rob and Jordan were just immense opening the bowling. 24/8 at one point!

If any of the lads from Bill Quay are reading cheers for the game it was played in a really good spirit.

Haway let's win the cup now.
 
Their captain was having a crack on after the game and was saying how we are a really enthusiastic team which was nice of him to say. I don't think I've played in a team that's got on so well, always good crack, gutted that it'll all be over after next week!

i would like to second this, i know we had our moments in the cup game but a good bunch of lads, a shame a few off them payed their last game for Bill Quay today and probably never done themselves justice.

Well done everyone who has been a part of the campaign this year. Everyone has done well and made a contribution at some point from stopping runs to scoring them and taking wickets. It has been a pain and a pleasure to play along side you all. Mostly the pain has been when I've been a muppett.

3rded about the spirit and the crack on today.

Well done again and lets get that cup won!

So for most of us it's two seasons of cricket, 1 promotion and two cup wins with a 3rd still possible :shock::-D

We should all be proud of ourselves.
