Hotels for next weekend

still only 25 to 30 quid a room just outside London if you take the car and train it in. Plenty of stations do off peak returns with Travelcard included for 12 to 15 notes.
I stayed in Uxbridge for the last play off final. I'll never stay in central London again even if I was going down for a sight seeing weekend.

absolutely no point in staying in central london - plenty of decent hotels at the end of the tube or even on the mainline out of town within 20-30 mins. St Albans is close enough - some nice pubs, very nice town to explore if there for the weekend

The Hyde Premier Inn on Edgware Road was canny, think 94 bus takes you straight to/from Wembley, no parking fees on side street beside hotel 👍

My lasses auntie lives near Barnet but think they’re away to France
Tell them to leave the keys under the mat.
