Honeyman Transfer Rumour

I posted this on another thread , but as people are spamming Honeyman related threads with snidey bantz, I'll post it here too:

For someone 'not good enough' he seems to have 7 goals and 3 assists; more than Leadbitter, Morgan, Power, O'Nien, Gooch, Matthews, Wyke, Grigg etc

But do carry on scapegoating the lad, he deserves it for being 'the captain' and a supporter.

Oh and he came through the academy, and SAFC is his only club, so that deserves as much bile as fans can muster too..

IIRC, we should also be ashamed of our lowest ever league performance this year - so why not point the finger at some (see above) players who have cost us a small fortune in L1 and don't really give a shit.
Get lost, George.

Local lad who tries his best, fairly limited overall but I feel he needs a move away if he is to improve. For some reason a number of fans are giving him a bit of a hard time at the moment, not in the stands but they have been scathing of his displays. I don't think the captaincy has helped, nor his lack of direction (manager to blame perhaps somewhat).
He's not as bad as folk are making out.
Jr certainly hasn't helped him with slow midfield next to him, and he's no number 10.
Our fans have no patience and on here love to have a boo boy and try and batter our players as much as possible.

Tbf, he got 7 goals last season in an abysmal team. Probably one of those players where if the system's right it just clicks for him.
I think we could see a far better player in a different set up.

I was a fan of his earlier in the season but I think I am wrong, I really don’t see what he adds to the team.

Maybe, just maybe, the way the team has regressed backwards over the season, physically and metaphorically has not helped him but I think that is probably clutching at straws.

It's no wonder he runs around a lot like an excited puppy. Bog standard footballer with zero leadership skills finds himself captain of Sunderland football club. I can't believe that other clubs are looking at him.
