If this transfer comes off, is it Ross being ruthless? Didn't think he would sanction him leaving tbh but as much as Honeyman tries hard, he is just not the right fit for the team

Last year of his contract, and may not have been willing to sign a new one. I'd say Ross being pragmatic, rather than ruthless.

I said on an earlier post,catts and gh produced 14 goals last season .So people are talking up emmbo,robbo,mcgeough,power,etc there is a chance that they wont get 14 between them.So what I hear you say ,we need to improve on last seasons end result or fail again.Could be that wyke,grigg.mcnulty will take up the slack ……..lets hope so

I thought Honeyman had a poor season last year - did you think he was good?

Got a feeling Grigg and McNulty will more than make up for Honeyman and Cattermole's goals this season. I reckon O'Nien would get a few too if he's played in midfield.

The difference in reactions between this news and news of Oviedo’s departure is f***ing embarrassing.

One was here because he cared, had grafted from a young age to play for us, contributed with a few goals & worked his bollocks off whenever he played.

The other was here because no-one else wanted him last summer.

Our support eh? Wonderful.

If you're not confident or even if you are but not very good, then it's not a good idea.
