It doesn't matter what division you are in you will still support your team, we have all been brain washed that the premiership is the place to be but really apart from the top six, there is very little chance of winning anything. yet we are told we have to be there but what's the point if the money earned is not spent wisely , there is very little chance of winning anything anyway, at least in lower divisions you have a chance of winning that particular league or play off trophies and you will see your team win games.Surely that's what's it's all about. The fact that the North East teams are reduced to hoping that they avoid relegation is dire.We both have a fan base to rival anyone in the country, the potential at both clubs is massive, yet i fear that we will never ever see the North east teams winning a domestic trophy in our life time and yes i know fuck off
This is a rarity, a post from a Mag that I can actually agree with.

Christ man., that was back when humanity was still living in caves

Marra I couldn't care less when it was tbf.

The fact is their heaviest defeat was against their nearest and dearest and on their own patch too.

And that will do for me even if it was over a 100 years ago.

yes i am and i will laugh again if you are relegated nut i am aware it could be us in that position in 2 year, we are also never far away from going down
In Ashley you have a chairman/owner who can run a football club. You lot might not like him, but there isn’t a chance in hell that you will suffer the same fate as us. He won’t break the bank but he will spend when he has to. He backed your messiah to the tune of 50 odd million to ensure you returned to the premier league. He knows it’s pointless competeing with your top 6 but spends enough to allow you to yo-yo. You ll do a Burnley. We are doing a Portsmouth

It's good to have something that makes you feel warm and cosy at night. I use a duvet myself

Never a truer word spoken. You must have been a Mackem in another life. ;)

It's got to the stage in which 14 clubs in the premier league are just happy to survive. Even Everton getting big Sam as manager screamed the need to just get above 18th at all costs. I think something fundamental has to change though, fans will start becoming disgruntled with the nature of the premier league. Yes Leicester won the title but that was an utter one off and since then the 'big 6' Spurs aside have spent insane amounts of money.

You’re correct in what you say, undoubtedly. The premier league though is undoubtably though where every fan wants to watch their team.
Any team in a lower league is striving for promotion which ultimately will lead them to the big time.
