Henderson (prediction)

What I think they are saying and believe to be true is Speakman and the club had the chance to take JH early doors here. They didnt act professionally therefore the door is now shut if KS is to be involved in the deal.

He's not "blocked his return" as such but the clubs now not a viable option for JH. These reports should be very worrying to fans.

Oh and what a lot of bollox some people are spouting on here about being dragged through the crap etctc. You're telling me you wouldn't take a current England Intl in our team who would be immediately the best midfielder, if not player in the Championship cos he went to Saudi? Total crap mate.
Yes, I'm telling you precisely that.

You may find it hard to believe that some people have morals and principles, but it's true.
Not amongst NUFC fans, it seems.

and there is the scoop. You cannot stomach a player who moved to a Saudi club coming to SAFC because NUFC are owned by Saudis. And if you allow them to come to SAFC then you cannot tell your Mag friends that they are wrong. Rubbish mate sorry.

So tell me given the chance would you also turn down the below:

Benzema
Neymar
Kante
Mahrez???

He couldn’t support his family with the money he’s earned and was continuing to earn ? How much does his family cost ffs ?
People always say this about rich people but don't understand that rich people become accustomed to the wealthy lifestyle and that costs a lot of money to sustain. In most cases as your wealth grows so do your expenditures proportionately. But maybe henderson has other plans for the saudi money, maybe he's looking at the good he can do with it like starting a foundation, he's always been well into supporting charities.

I'm not getting into this as you're telling me what I think. Unless you live in a fcking cave, you know the difference regarding JH's move to SA.
The irony of you calling anyone arrogant!

Why are people talking about Speakman? Henderson went to Saudi because he loves money over everything else, and he can't come back to the UK for the tax reasons mentioned earlier as he'd lose that money. So both times has nothing to do with Speakman, daft to even suggest it.

“I wanted to achieve something special”
about his move to Saudi.

Aye 😂 it’s absolutely nowt to do with the tax man

I've no idea of Hendersons tax implications but it's not to save tax in the Netherlands or anywhere in the Schengen area. Personal tax is higher in the Netherlands than the UK.

Bollocks, he wants to come home coz he’s not happy!
Question for all tbe morality brigade…

It’s quite common for people from the UK to travel to the middle east for work. I know plenty who have. A family member of mine worked in Oman for years, being really high up in Esso (or Shell can’t remember), so should I have ostracised him (or any of the orhers) and tell them to fuck off your not welcome back? 🤷‍♂️

Morality brigade? Are you a member of the immorality brigade? ;)

This has been done to death, but you've asked, so I'll explain again how it's not the same as some Joe Bloggs going to Saudi for a big payout.

Henderson was a self-appointed advocate of the LGBT+ community. Rainbow armbands etc. He very publically supported them and got a lot of media attention.

He then takes the thirty pieces of silver and fcks off to a country that is diametrically opposed to everything he claimed to stand for. Very bad things happen to LGBT+ people in KSA.
He went from supporting the LGBT+ community to sportswashing, a massive U-turn. Pure hypocrisy that made an absolute mockery of all the good work he'd done, selling out his principles.

The comparison with your family member just doesn't work. For starters, Oman isn't Saudi Arabia. Was he a world famous footballer who can influence young people? Was he already a multi millionaire set up for life? Was he a seemingly passionate and very public advocate for the LGBT community?

JH can get fcked. I don't want SAFC associated with sportwashing any more than it already is after the scum game shenanigans

He's made his bed, he can stew in it.

Anyhoo, it's all about opinions. I don't get why pro-JH posters have to be so bloody aggressive and condescending. We all have our own stance on this, and I'm not some SJW jumping on a bandwagon. I rarely get passionate about stuff that doesn't concern me, but I feel strongly about this and it isn't fair to be mocked. let's agree to disagree.

Passionate debate breeds passionate debate. You’re clearly passionate about your stance and so are those who are disagreeing with you. Doesn’t have to be a personal thing I agree

The fact you’re not changing your opinion and reaffirm your stance in your responses will be frustrating for people who believe you’re wrong and don’t feel you are accepting their view.

And done people struggle with that hence the aggressive responses

I do disagree with your view for what it’s worth but each to their own

I've no issue with passionate debate, but check out 'Miltonoonfez's' replies to my posts. That's not debate, or even an argument. It's foot-stamping accusation and ad hominem.
I just can't be bothered with posters who immediately resort to using logical fallacy, straw man tactics and deciding for me what I think, creating an entirely fake narrative and using it against me.

I'll debate with anyone who's up for it, but if people are going to act like children, I'm out. I have better things to do, and you know what they say about arguing with fools... ;)

Nobody is giving others shit. The difference with Henderson is that he has put himself forward to defend lgbt+ tights so has shown himself to be a total hypocrite. Had he not done this then their wouldn't be as much disdain for his behaviour.

Did the lad you know openly support gay rights and made himself the unelected moral guidance captain of the premier league players? Then make himself look an utter **** by chasing money in a country that hates everything Henderson was standing up for ????

I honestly think if the PiF didn't own Newcastle there'd be very few on here who care. Guess we'll never know
I think it's the hypocrisy that rankles the most. He stood up and told us we all need to be better and do what's right. Then fucks of to the gay haters because they pay him loads. Unsurprisingly, people really hate being told what to do when those people doing the telling prove to be lying cvnts.

I’m with you mate it can get tedious when people are doing the equivalent of just shouting and calling you names because they don’t agree

witty debate is a dying art on here unfortunately and people have lost the ability to articulate reasonable responses and just scream and shout

Thank fuck for the ignore button pal
