The money he was offered was incredible for someone nearing the end of his career, even for a millionaire. Like I said, everyone’s opinions on here are skewed because of the mags Saudi takeover. There has been many other players took the Saudi money but none have been vilified on here like Henderson.

It's really not. You just need to have been a member of the board for a long term period to know that our support in the main has a social conscience. I feel I do. I didn't watch a moment of the world cup for example. Some things ate more important than football or money for that matter. And to say its incredible money fir someone entering last years of football, he's made more money than the average man will do so in a month anyway. There is literally no excuse for what he's done. Pure greed.

You’re right, somethings are more important than football or money. Nothing that Henderson has done here falls into that catagory, so what he wore a rainbow armband at Liverpool, it’s up to him if he wants to continue that or take Saudi money, personally I couldn’t give a fuck what he chooses to do.

He did more than put an armbamd on and you know it. It's why the Saudis wanted him so badly to show anyone Can be corrupted. It is up to him if he wants to take the blood stained cash and he has to take any criticism that comes his way. No one can protect him from the truth.

It’s the fact that he was one of the main voices in defending LGBT rights that really made my opinion change on this.

I loved how he had been a decent player but showed that with the right attitude and dedication you could make it in the game. He never had a scandal of being caught shagging around, doing gear in nightclubs or being an arsehole to supporters. He was a brilliant representative of the club and area, a real role model for any kid wanting to play football.

So with all of that, if he could trade his morals in for a payday (when he was already set for life as a multimillionaire, before he even thought about coaching/managing/punditry), what does that say about the rest of the game?

I honestly never want to see him near the club in any capacity again.

Can't believe some of the things people on these pages say about Jordan and the criticism he gets. Watched him come through the youths then making in it to first team where he gave everything on the pitch to our club. Since leaving he has said nothing but good things about our club and fans, some folk are just sad and jealous and the lad did nothing else than the normal man on the street would of done. Hope the lad finishes his career at our club I for one will welcome him with open arms

Jordan Henderson would immediately become the best player in our side if he signed . However just say you are correct and he’s not the player he once was , his experience , knowledge and know how would be unbelievable for the likes of Rigg, Ekwha and Neil .

What’s there to be sad and jealous of? We all adored him and he was richer than any of us could have imagined from his career before Saudi, nobody was sad and jealous about his wealth when at Liverpool were they?
