Attitude rather than potential ability. Needs to change his mindset to suit the game here because from what I’ve seen of him so far in both our first team and U21s he just seems to be far too slow in his thinking and reactions. I don’t know if it’s just his youth or a cultural issue adapting to the English game but he’s constantly miles off the pace and always half a second behind in his reading of the game around him. He needs a mental reset I reckon to get him to realise his physical potential and even possibly just boost his confidence. Whether that’s good man management from a coach, a sports psychologist or just a senior member of the squad keeping him right.

Bit of strength, is mobile, can hit a shot, there is something there, think he has been handled horribly.

Strikers will forever be called lazy bastards on here.

Doesn't really show strength, doesn't show he's mobile. Technically probably decent from the bits we've seen.

Shown absolutely nothing to warrant games in all honesty apart from a couple of cameos in pre season two years running.

Needs a loan where he plays in English football. He's not going to get games here unless he improves dramatically.

Just thinking about his role at the club and development as a player.

I'd have him out on loan abroad. A place where he can play 30+ games.

I've been considering his position and I think we have it wrong. I think he's better suited to play behind a front man. He hasn't the instincts to play up top but he does have a bit skill and decent ability to bring people into play.

Abroad loans have been a disaster. Get him into league one..if he can't cut the mustard there it's time for him to move on

He's just so passive and timid despite being a giant. He needs a loan spell in League Two or somewhere like that where he will have to fight for his life twice a week against shithouse center backs. Youth football doesn't seem to be doing him much good. I'm tired of seeing the word lazy thrown around, one - I don't think it's a matter of laziness so much as fear and insecurity and two there seems to be a worrying pattern of black players in our side being unfairly labeled as lazy (See Jobe, Ba, Ekwah).

I just think he's needs a bit confidence and get a decent number of games under his belt to develop into a player. Aboard would allow him the freedom to do that.

I don't think being kicked up a height in the English lower leagues would do him any favours currently

How else is he ever going to adapt though? He's never going to get the games in our first team.

He looks a more technical player which isn't surprising where he comes from. But given also he seems to have very little energy it becomes an issue of where or how you can play him, because he's not very adept at using his body or playing with his back to goal (which many young lads aren't).

To me he just isn't cut out for English football and not skilled enough to get away with not putting a shift in - something needs to change for it to work out for him.

Absolutely this!

Needs a loan out to the league below. He's never really had a chance yet imo but he's no-where near the standard to be playing for us either.

Didn't help he got thrown under the bus last season either mind since Rusyn was injured / crap aswell.

The lad is built like a tank and has the occasional rocket of a shot up his sleeve as shown in pre season and some old clips. He also doesn't look like he can even be arsed to run . It doesn't take 12 months to get the message across to run and chase things down, and show some of your strength in challenges. He hasn't improved at all since he first arrived in my view . Give him game time elsewhere or sell (Will be hard on his 4 year contract still) but he needs to change his attitude. Mowbray even indicated he used to turn up last and leave 1st for training. Sorry but got no time for players like that.

Rusyn didn't work out last season either but at least you can tell he is trying.
