Hemir

If we're going by friendlies then Hemir was a 'better' striker last season.

I can't believe people are really that stupid that they think he's now the solution to the goals issue based on one goal in a pointless friendly.

Never judge a player by a friendly and that works both ways. The kid needs to go out on loan and get proper game time while the first team needs someone who scores goals. Not someone that 'might' score goals because he scored a goal in a friendly.

All of our young strikers were thrown in at the deepend.

Hopefully we get the experienced striker(s) I’m so these lads can be managed better.

Hemir has potential, worked harder than usual could see the game plan from Reggie, making him come short in certain situations, looked to hold it up, aye he had a few bad touches as well.

He’s a big lad, rocket of a shot on him, plenty potential, hopefully new manger, along with experienced striker to take pressure off, helps him kick on.

One wonder goal in a training exercise wont bluff me. Hes not ready in a month of Sundays and needs loaning out to play games and develop

Who's suggesting that? I maybe mistaken but I don't think any have even said anything remotely like that

Nowt against the lad as he's still really young, but he should be no where near the first team squad, I've seen him at U21 level and he seems to switch off far to much for me, plus he always looks like he goes into a strop if instructed to run the channels..

Might be me mistaking things but felt like some are giving the hidden message that it was other reasons he didn't score rather than he just isn't ready yet.
Hemir hasn't done anything more

Hemir is younger, loaning out a 25 year old hoping he might become good is stupid. Doing the same for a 20 year old makes sense though.

Both badly need game time, it just isn't in our first team squad currently.

That's not Hemir

Barely even involved, never jumped in the air early on - came short occasionally to get involved. As he had more cameos he managed to get the odd chance and pick the ball up in dangerous areas.

Not really able to use his body well and have strength or use his physique- at 19/20 you may not expect that but he doesn't even give the impression it's part of his game.

Hemir scored a few in pre season last year, which led to me putting a bet on him being top scorer in the league. I had to look at it every time I logged into bet365 all season. I'm not falling for it again this year 😂
i remember the year we signed Cabral (Sp) I believed the hype and put him in my works fantasy football team..

..He didnt contribute many points for me..

I like the look of him, big unit and he does have the skill, just needs to get hungry. Laugh all you want, I am 65, and think I would get to a 50/50 and win before him.

Wake up you big fucker

Physically you could say he has the size and physique to compete over here. In terms of the way he actually plays the physical side and workrate looks alien to him though- at times he looks completely lost.

Technically from what I've seen he looks to have something. He needs to compete more though and earn the right to play and fight for the time and space on the ball - so far that's been lacking.
