Hemir

I'm not going to lie, I thought he was decent at Preston away at the beginning of the season. He made some good runs and there just didn't seem to be the links with our midfielders to make the final pass.

I do wonder if there's confidence issues there. But at the very least he's a few years away from being good enough. Needs a few more seasons in junior football.

As I’ve said many times in my previous life Hemir was then and still now a total misfit, did we actually pay out anything for him? He does beat most of the others for total lack of anything. Not once in any of his performances has he shown a single thing to make yiy think there was something there. This is once again the fault of the so called dof and his blinkered strategy I discovered Jude I can do it again model. He is the one behind another failed lifeless season for the love of god he must be sacked, but the boy doesn’t have the bottle to do it.

Been made a scapegoat from the first game of the season. Confidence shattered by Mowbray. Not even given scraps to feed off when he does play and nowhere near our worst performer today.

I agree with most of that but can't think of many if any that were worse than him today.

doesn't want to run...lazy and needs it on a plate..not the player for this level of the game..He'd struggle playing for Consett!

TBF h'e just another player on the Sunderland assembly line of pedestrian, ineffectual and backawer specialists and I would include, Neil, Ekwah, Burstow, Hume and Bellingham in that list. We just can't play offensive front foot football with snails clogging up the midfield. Our first priority should be to recruit players with pace to burn as at the momento we're just far too slow to hurt teams in any area of the field. Let's hope Clarke and Roberts can get back soon and help stave off the drop.
