Planning a full days photography around the NE on Friday. Can anyone advise of any interesting derelict/disused/historical spots around the NE. Especially keen on the ship building roots but anything with history is of interest.
Cheers.

Gibraltar Farmhouse. The last owner died of hypothermia in a snow drift in 1967, everything was left pretty much in situ .
Warning: haunted.
The place certainly has an atmosphere. Where is it located?
Near Hunstanworth and Blanchland. It's a half hour walk from anywhere.
