Haway Then Man City Or Inter Milan And Why?

Not that bothered but expecting City to win easily. Hope they stop dominating the league though but then growing up watching Manchester United outspend everyone else and winning 13/20 titles between 1993-2013 wasn't that much fun either.

City. It'll close off an era or something. Also, got a mate who supports them.
That's true, this Guardiola team has been close to winning for the last few years. Looking at the ages of some of their players - Walker (33), Gundogan (32), Mahrez (32), Ederson (29), Stones (29), Ake (28), Rodri (27), Bernardo Silva (27), Grealish (27) - some of them might not have that many more chances. Would be nice to see Walker, Stones, Grealish and academy product Foden win this competition.

Be a new name on the trophy also.

Man City .

They are representing our league and have a number of the English national squad.

Shouldn’t even be a question really . Why anyone would support an Italian team over an English team is beyond me ( apart from one team 😉)
Inter Milan
They are European.
Man city are Abu Dhabi based in Manchester
1.5 billion of a state fund. They should win everything, seeing as theyve cheated to do it.
Cheaters never prosper, hopefully

Great reason. Especially seeing as they are owned by the second largest ‘privately’ owned organisation in China - I.e., they are funded by an organisation that is wealthy beyond imagination (annual revenue of >$100bn) because the state of China allows it, controls it, and basically owns it.

Inter Milan are owned by a company that is a front for the Chinese government. And people are complaining that Man City are state owned 🤣🤣
Chinese Suning Holdings Group
Non state owned company in China.
The state don't own it.
But companies like suning and amazon are just as wealthy as some states nowadays.
According to this Man Utd have spent more:

"United have spent £685m to City’s £660m, and their respective net spends are £527m and £162m"

So anyone with that amount of money at their disposal doesnt necessarily win
Over 10 yrs city have spent way more.
City can also spend safely , knowing if a player doesnt work out they will buy another.
Other rich clubs can't do that.
They spend with no worries.

So you believe that a Chinese company that turns over $100bn per year and is 100% owned by a single person who has also been a senior politician for the past 20+ years, is not controlled by the state. Aye, because that’s how authoritarian political societies work. 🤣

Desperately hoping Inter win, although I really can't see it happening.

Ideally they'll either get a really fluky goal in the first five minutes and totally shithouse the rest of the game and cling on, or else grind out a massively grim but effective defensive masterclass and nick it with a last minute fluke or on penalties.

Can't say I'm arsed. Quite like the City fans I know and my housemate is out there with his dad. But just like every other final involving English teams it's funny when they lose.

Don't like citeh especially with the Gallagher nobheads on board but if the Ities start fannying around I might change me tune

City to win only because they are English League . Having said all that i see the game of football being destroyed by money bags oil barrons and none of the controlling organisations UEFA. FIFA. Premier League and even the EFL are doing nothing to make the game a level playing field. Fans still have no say.
