Have we been sussed?

9 goals in two games by teams pressing our defence. Worrying.
Nope. We've changed set up/personnel. That's what has made us so open recently.

Get back to the best back four. With Hume additional. The the likes of Rigg dont offer cover. Hume makes us more solid, can move to a 5 and makes Mukieke much more effective.

Also, stop shoehorning to get both Le Fee and Diarra in. It's one of the two. Central. And for me it's Le Fee. Who offers us much mote control.

The clamour for more attacking is undoing the formula.

2 strikers and 2 wingers pressing high and we decide to pass it around the back, needed a change in tactic asap.
I don’t understand why we kept doing it tonight.

A feature of us this season is we’ve not been afraid to go long and be very direct if we needed to.

We haven’t been sussed at all. We didn’t play like we have done for the majority of the season.

It’s almost as if trying to play out from the back as a newly promoted side against a high pressing high energy team is a stupid idea.

We have gifted a hell of a lot of goals away lately. Its frustrating as out. I wouldnt necessarily call it us being "sussed out" though. A blind man can see we're vunerable in those situations.

Get those stupid mistakes coached out and the results change.

I think our biggest issue is the change in energy levels. In the early season we were at teams, closing down like mad men and we were much more direct, with quality first time crosses going into a striker on the 6 yard line. Weve become ponderous and slow and i think its hit confidence levels.

Our fitness levels looked miles behind Forest aswel. .....and they have had europe this season aswel.

Bang on. I just said our fitness levels look miles off it.

They have been chod to average all season. They’ve also had a European distraction yet have still been able to pull that out of the bag. Does it highlight the gulf between a team that’s spent a handful of seasons in the PL compared to newly promoted clubs?

Literally attempting balls into players feeds who are under immediate pressure, Roefs error was intended for someone who was under a lot of pressure too, it was a ticking time bomb before Roefs got caught in possession and tonight was the night

Maybe we are conceding goals because we are trying to be more attacking.

Centre backs are frequently striding forward out of defence where earlier in the season they would have kept shape.

I think Id rather just go back to how were were at the start of the season defending our box with our lives.

It is amazing how it stays with us. We fall on our arses playing from the back but we can’t play it long because of our persistent lack of aerial ability up front.

I wouldn’t, because of our dodgy reserve but I would take £30m for him.
Is that the dodgy reserve who has played 3 x prem games and kept 2 clean sheets ? Nowt wrong with Ellborg

Our best form came before Hume started playing on the right wing. It was when we actually had a right winser on the wings instead of putting players there who are either central midfielders or fullbacks.
Injuries out wide have screwed us up

RLG is obviously trying to be more expansive to evolve the team into being more offensive and scoring more goals. He’s using the back end of the season to let the breaks off and see where we can take it.

He could revert to a lower block slow build again very quickly but the team won’t progress beyond being the defensive masters of the prem.,

It’s leaving us wide open, making us look gung ho, naive like chickens with no head.

RLB will fix it
