yes 99. Caddick waqs pretty decent IMO but rarely showed his full capabilities

IIRC Caddick managed a test best of 49* in partnership with Alec Stewart, all set for his first half century, only for Stewie to get out.

It always seemed he was too far down the tail to have any time to get himself in, should have been used as a night watchman more often.

In the past, we have hoped for runs down the order. Today, we expect them.

if this lad ever gets a test 50

you know test cricket has gone to shite!

Yeah notorious for being the worst test batsman of all time. Whats his highest score? Didnt see it on the link.

Edit: sorry seen it now!

The bowling attacks of today are far worse than even those of five years ago...

Infact... is there even a out and out FAST bowler in world cricket other than Malinga!?

Goughie was touted as an allrounder when he first came on the scene but never ended up doing much other than the odd slog... Phil DeFraitis/Chris Lewis/Cork were all touted as allrounders but hardly did out with the bat for England.

Ian Salisbury was a canny tailender too. Shame he couldnt land his leg spinners on a bin lid.
