Has Roefs got a sell on clause?

Feels a bit Pickers-ish

Though not a mackem obviously. Similar age and got one class season out of him before a big money move. If it happens of course

I don't think that Ellborg is good enough with the ball at his feet for how we play.
He's got away with it quite a few times so far. He looks slow to react when the ball is at his feet, seems to take an age to clear the ball or move it on when he's being closed down. Likely something he'll get more used to with time.

We will sell at the top of his value which is this close season. Be amazed if he doesn’t go and not shocked one iota if Le Fee goes.

The rest have a lot to do to demonstrate viability for a top 6 club compared to what we would want as a few.

Speaking to ESPN NL’s Goedemorgen Eredivisieis, as relayed by , Van Schaik has revealed that the agreement which brought Roefs to England also included a sell-on clause and a number of achievable bonuses.

One included staying up..

Just on Sky Transfer Centre that Chelsea could possibly offer £60m, as Man City and Liverpool are also sniffing about.

When we signed him was there any mention of a sell on clause?

Bidding war could happen ... at 23 he looks super accomplished already and what is the possibility that he could set a world record fee for a keeper at some point. He most interesting facet of this is how the club manages this and other approaches

Sadiki
Le Fee
Brobbey

All getting attention

If he leaves, so be it.
I watched Sheffield Wednesday's young goalkeeper performing miracles yesterday.
Should sign him in their end of season fire sale.

He’s been an excellent signing. If he goes we will make a significant profit and presumably have funds available from the fee added to our transfer budget. I hope we can find/attract a similarly skilled replacement to the goalkeeping group. Ellborg is a work in progress but with Patterson likely to leave and Moore out of contract that only leaves Young to come back from his loan. We are likely to be looking at goalkeepers in any event.

If the big boys come calling they will automatically treble his wage and he will be away.

People are going to have to get used to losing our better players, it’s the reason they sign for us in the first place.
oh I am

just don't think it may be this season

need to chill out mate

HIm and sadiki are gone this summer for 100m. Im fine with that
I'd be fine with it

Just don't think it'll happen with both or either necessarily

Roefs has been excellent but its his second season of first team football and he has been injured a bit

Sadiki covers a lot of ground but what are his assist and goal stats? 0 goals

If I was a scout watching him I'd have seen that over-hit pass to Le Fee against the Mags and gone "not ready yet"

all imo of course happy to be disagreed with

If I were Chelsea, I'd definitely be going after Roefs. Their keeper is garbage. Same for Spurs (if they actually stay up!)

He's very ropey under any pressure with the ball at his feet. What he seems to be able to do though, is ping it right into Brobbey if he's given time.

But he absolutely must improve his distribution under pressure, because he's a bombscare.

definitely want to hang onto him for the next season at least…. Him and Xhaka the two to hang your team around

If there is then it is what it is. If it's enabled us to get a quality keeper who has helped keep us in the Premier League then it's been a bargain, especially as it will likely mean he goes at a profit.

I think we all know he's not staying here long term as he's too good not to attract bigger clubs and especially at his age. We just have to make the best out for the situation and make sure we replace him well.

This is where we have usually failed into he last when we've had players who we could sell on (well most of the time they depreciated in value but there's been a few).
