Was absolutely mental how may times we were caught in possession trying to play out first half mind :lol:

Forest were there for the taking and our 5 CNs ran rings around theirs first 15 mins then we lost the f***ing plot.

He’s a decent keeper but Christ have people on here been going overboard about him.

I’ve seen some say they wouldn’t swap him for any other keeper in the league and he’s already one of the best in the world.

Aye mate I’d sooner have Roefs than Donnarumma, Raya or even Pickford. There’s even a bloke in this division who’s ahead of him for the national team as well!
 
Gives a good impression of being the Dutch Ice man but hes young, hes had transfer talk , hes been on a roll, then got what may have been his first significant injury . Last night should give him some perspective going forward , lets see what he makes of it . Still some growing up to do Robin eh ?

He was always gonna get caught out in the way he passes as its been a red flag all season.

Literally kicking the ball straight to their player is worse than what happened at the mags game but we live, we learn and we arent ready for Europe yet
 
I thought the Villa performance was a one off and everyone can make mistakes. But he's been shocking since he came back, defs had his head turned by the Chelsea rumours. I'd take your hands off for 60 mil and reinvest it back into the team.

I do wonder if the praise he has been recieving has effected him.

Not in a cocky way but perhaps made him feel over confident. He's just a kid really so can't blame that happening. Hopefully last night was a wake up.

Bad balls happen but it was all game which is the worry. He was not his usual self at all

It's almost as if people saying a goalkeeper doesn't hit his peak until very late twenties are correct?

He'll be fine, all part of the process.
He's considered an asset for a reason.

He's a quality goalkeeper but he wasn't great yesterday. He needs a few more seasons at the top level for him to improve which we can provide him as a football club.
