Given the age he is at then it makes sense for the player to want that extra financial security of which we weren’t willing or able to offer him. I have no issue with that at all. It’s just a shame he seemingly downed tools in order to get what he wanted, which is what has left a bitter taste to the whole situation. It’s a shame really, but we and he move on.
