Hartlepool United

The NL should really have two automatic promotion places.

It would be a sickener if the team finishing second with over 100 points lost out on promotion to a team finishing with around 80 points.

Funnily enough the Championship is adopting this play off method for next season. They will still keep the two automatic promotion places though.

A lot of self entitlement about him. Thinks he's Mr Hartlepool. Over 500 away fans and he's very dismissive about the game and the result. Another game where he didn't have a go. Ironically says he would have played Sinclair up front.... Yet he's had months to do that and never did. Just glad he won't be manager in August

It’s his lack of self awareness that bothers me, his inability to read the room. Nicky, the people have spoken (mostly) we don’t want you in charge next season! You were given the chance to prove yourself worthy of leading the club but all you offered was, apart from a few good results, awful football, repetitive tactics that didn’t work & an inability to inspire the team & the fans.
Banging on about statistics regarding having a better win percentage than the previous managers, SO WHAT!! In a poor NL apart from York & Rochdale you had a chance to break into the playoffs but you weren’t brave enough. Graham Lee presided over 2 games which had the fans excited, the Rotherham semi final & the Palace game. Yes we lost both but the excitement generated will live long in the memory & a lot of money was made along the way, you have managed to suck the life out of the club.
I honestly wish you good luck in whatever you do next, thank you for your service to our great club.

Noticed a tweet by Paul 'goffy' Gough, saying a manager with bags of experience in this week... Mowbray?? Also a heritage player to be appointed club ambassador.

I haven't heard a rumour as such, but a mate of mine mentioned him in connection with the pools job a few weeks ago. Is there any legs in that rumour?
Nowt credible as of now, same lad who reckons Lowe leading candidate and massive overhaul to the coaching staff also said Cattermole was getting it earlier in the season, but he's got a couple things right in the past
