He's right. We're boring and totally crap.

It's not only the manager that needs replacing, it's virtually the whole team.

Is that a dig?

He's an absolute prat that fella, proper free loader who hated any sort of criticism aimed towards his "journalism". He stopped going for a while under Singh but prior to that was Northern Echo reporter before he was made redundant then he did some free lance non league stuff. Obviously he's a big fan of Featherstone so it's a dig at fans (who have stood by the club unlike himself in recent years), who have criticised Featherstone and his brand of football and he'll also be bitter Featherstone hasn't got the job. Same people who criticised Singh for a lack of ambition, seemingly up in arms Featherstone isn't getting the job... each to their own I guess

Nick is having a subtle dig at fans who pay good money (unlike himself over the years) who are criticising Saint Nicky and his brand of football.

The football under Featherstone IS boring! It’s a chore to go to see Pools with him in charge. Who amongst us wouldn’t be looking forward to a game of the magnitude of Saturdays Rochdale/York game? The only excitement we’ve had this season is when the takeover was announced & everyone packed the Vic to welcome LS. Over time he managed to kill off any feel good factor surrounding the club knocking hundreds off the gate, where does that show in the statistics you’re so fond of Nicky? You had your chance, thank you for your service & good luck in the future.

Discussed this earlier with a few lads and have done previously. When we played Altrincham 5300 turned up, the place was bouncing and it was around 1800 up on the average 3500. Since then the "pay on the gate" fans have got bored (understandably) and the feel good factor vanished very quickly, the ground was flat as a fart due to the negative, dull, boring football. I think the owner and this new consultancy performance company have taken note of the fall in attendances and that has been a contributing factor in the decision to not give NF the job at the end of the season. If you work on the assumption £15 is the average ticket price at Pools, we are losing an average of about 1500 fans since that Altrincham game, that is around £22500 lost gate money. 3044 last night which included 168 away fans, so that is over 2000 home fans which is £30000 on gate money lost..... that is on the manager and his brand of football. A club at National League level cannot afford to be losing out on that potential money 23 times for league games, it's easily half a million quid alone on gate money

I stopped taking notice of that bloke after his tongue got firmly wedged up Gary Coxalls arse, it was embarrassing.
