Hartlepool United

A few like that on here go from club to club depending on who is doing the best.
For the record I've watched Hartlepool home and away for 33 years.
Fans on social media trying to pass on their Scunthorpe tickets now.
It's a hard slog watching them at home truth be told. Not at all shocked with that result tonight though. The football under Featherstone has been absolutely rotten to watch, so negative 90% of the time, it was inevitable a team was going to batter Pools and I suspect Scunthorpe/Rochdale will do similar. I do hope that puts an end to any consideration he was going to get the job, he's simply not good enough and tonight should be the end of that debate/discussion. Get rid of him and plan for next season. Truth be told I'd be more than open to the Gateshead manager. See what happens I guess

Aye that’s fair enough but you had a Glasgow Rangers avatar the other day.

Yeah just winding someone up, it was only up a few hours..
Featherstone must surely be gone today.
"Didn't see that coming" - he must have said it about 6 times in his interview. Nicky mate.... We've been absolutely shite for months as I've consistently said. The football has been absolutely soul destroying to watch, tactics taking negative to whole new levels and even a home win last time out, some sections of the support were booing. On paper good run of form but Truro away was dire, Eastleigh at home was god awful and Morecambe away we didn't attack much but fortunately won the game. We've had some very fortunate wins with Gateshead at home a stand out for that. The new owner really needs to act asap and get a proper manager in who can assess the squad, do what is needed in the summer and start again in August with play offs the aim of the game.

When did you fit Sunderland home and away in?
It was always a bit daft especially the 5.30pm Saturday games for Sunderland at home, flying up the A19  after dashing out of Pools for about 4.50pm. I never used to mind them changing Sunderland games to a Sunday or the early/late Saturday slot. Many times I've done an away on a Saturday then away on a Sunday. Remember one time Palace away in the play offs it was a Friday night game, we didn't get home until 6am, few hours kip then Pools were at home (Bristol City I think it was). It used to be bloody expensive but always made the effort if I wasn't at Sunderland and I could make Pools, I'd do it. Got a cricket/ice hockey balance to sort this weekend  not sure how to work that one out just yet
