Absolutely dreadful dreadful game. Takes off two best players with around 18 minutes to go which leads to the crowd booing the manager. Changes system to go 5-4-1 and sit extra deep to hold onto 1-0. Mixed reaction at full time. Awful to watch
 
I enjoyed the match day experience this afternoon. It certainly makes a difference when your own team aren’t playing, although I did want Pools to win.
The standard of football was not high and I couldn’t understand why Miley and Reid were taken off. A few fans around us were also questioning the substitutions. The last 15 minutes Pools were poor and I thought Eastleigh might get an equaliser in front of their fans. It was announced that they had brought 45 but some of them must have been in hospitality as the group in the corner wasn’t that big.
The downside of the afternoon was the bloody drummer!!! I know where the drumsticks would go if I was a regular.

Reid was absolutely shite today and I'm usually a fan as he's always isolated due to the negative tactics. Caton was so much better and more positive yet he was taken off 15 minutes with Miley which drew booing from the crowd aimed at the manager. Mixed reaction at full time as well, not often that happens with a win but it was awful to watch and Eastleigh jesus christ they were disgusting. We counted 25 Eastleigh fans.

Ive also heard this. Football is virtually non existent there now so its plausible that there is going to be an alternative use for the ground but knowing our council, they are likely to sell it to a property developer to put a load of houses on it.

Spent my youth playing Sunday league football on there. Cricket as well.
 
Just talking about that today mate. Saturday afternoon, Sunday morning & Sunday afternoons, pretty much every pitch had a game going on. Now, tumbleweeds.
 
Look up “Rift House Recreation Ground” mate, it’s easier to google for it’s location than my trying to explain its location. There were about 10 pitches on there, 2 buildings to change in, cricket pitches.
