Aye full of Sunderland lads in Hartlepool who support Sunderland. I’m on about the match goers. Enjoy non league again.

If that’s the ones you’ve come accross then fair enough. The ones I’ve come across are all anti Sunderland and very pro mag. Hope they’ve had a good day.

Well I have to disagree as my nephew who used to be a Man Utd fan, then discovered his roots when Pools had their purple patch about twenty years ago, he’s now a plastic mag ☹️

Been down today. Hartlepools a second team for me cos a few of my good pals are pools fans. Felt for them today, one of the worst set ups I’ve seen, absolutely awful and ma aged didn’t seem to want to change it.
 
Very sad day for North East football ! Pools could do a Darlo now and slip several divisions very easily, they need serious investment next season, but god knows where from. . .
Plenty Mags live in Sunderland and vice versa, that's life, tarring them all with the same brush is absolutely STUPID !

Plenty on this message board are Sunderland and have a soft spot for Hartlepool.
I am gutted with this result to be honest. Plenty on here know I like the place, the people and above all the football team.
Sad day for NE football and will really miss my trip to Victoria Park next season.
Can only wish them an immediate return but that league bloody tough to get out of.

Felt like we conceded when my lad said it was 2-0.

I am born and bred West Hartlepool County Durham. That’s what it says on my birth certificate. I am proud of that.
Many more are the same.
I know hundreds of SAFC fans from British West Hartlepool. Yes the town has plenty of mags anarl. Why I do not know.
These people saying BWH is a mag town are either dense or ill informed..
When it comes to going to see your team SAFC win hands down.
If you go into the Owton Manor club when the mags are on tv, guess what ?
It’s full of plastic mags.
They couldn’t name their ground never mind find their way there.

It's a bloody shame. However, hardly unexpected in the greater scheme of things. The club has made so many poor decisions and has lacked any serious investment for its entire lowly existence.
I have no links to Hartlepool, but always want to see all the clubs in Northumberland and Durham do well. Let's hope they bounce back quickly - with Gateshead joining them.
