Hartlepool United

Appreciate it and definitely useful to know a few good local places.
Always up for trying the local beers.

Yes Mate 👍
I know it. It’s a recent addition and owned by a lad from London who couldn’t believe how cheap, property is in the town.
As Spuff said, the best pub is the Globe about 300 yards away. The Fisherman’s is close if it’s open, a real trad pub. The Harbour is close by and does great fish n chips, known as the Pot House.
Verrils fish shop is round the corner. Beware seagulls nicking your fish 😆
You are very close to the Town Wall. Go for a walk along it head north. It’s a lovely walk, wrap,up though.
It can be sheltered where your digs are but gets windy when you get to the Heugh battery where there are plenty of guns facing out to sea, remember we were bombarded by the German navy and this area was decimated.
Carry on and you will see Sunderland shining across the sea on a good day.
This is my favourite beach, I go there with my grand kids, when the tide is going out the rock pools are amazing.
A taxi from your digs to the ground or the marina will be a little, over a fiver.
Enjoy it, if you fancy a pint let me know.👍

Just seen your prices for next season - £27 for L2, bit toppy isn’t it?

Mixed Mate to be honest.
We have the joint biggest income in the League with Bradford who subsidise their ST’s. We’ve got our debt down from £9 million to under £1 million in under 18 months, however we are cynical as to what this equates to. Buying our own Ground will be a massive base to build from after years of being robbed by a scum bag.
We are massively underachieving in this shite league, it’s awful and desperately need to get out of it before we lose the momentum we have got back.

Fans will pay £27 providing they see the product on the pitch.
Last season was simply survival, over achieved. This season was more around consolidation and debt clearance. Next season promotion however as you know that is not easy. Add Wrexham to the mix and already it will be tougher next season.

We have incredible support home and away at this level. However it’s tough out there economically. Understand the club wanted to go even higher with the pricing but were strongly advised not to do so.

We are the most damaged fans out there over recent events. Everyone expecting positive activity in pre-season. If the expectations are not met with these prices this could go wrong very quickly in true Swindon style.
Some Board room battles are still going on. After all it‘s never straightforward at this damaged club.
