Hartlepool United

Hartlepool twinned with Swindon.
Depressing.
How much does this new American owner know about the national league, who’s going to pick the next manager and transfer targets. There’s always a big turnover of players in the summer at this level with short contracts.

I’m not sure who is still at the club behind the scenes

Probably the same about Holloway playing his best 11 and a settled side.
We only play when we go behind.

You’re still in with a shout of promotion though aren’t you? Also your games must at least be entertaining, I’ve picked Swindon games quite a lot this season for both teams to score on my acca as there’s usually plenty of goals

On the plus side Featherstone was sent off at full time

Yeah I only found that out after I got home.

At some point Liddle will be asked to take charge till the end of the season (hopefully on Monday).

The down side will be that Lennie will probably still be there giving a "helping hand".

The Raj cronies all need to go and I include Featherstone in that. I'm all for patience however this fella sets up the same every single home game and expects something different... When it hasn't worked yet, I'm at a loss as to why he persists.... It clearly tells me he has no Plan B which is evident. He sets up at home as the away side, and if he keeps it at 0-0 until late on he'll push on a bit. It's a dreadful way to setup at home and it's rarely worked. Even Vs Gateshead a game we won, for an hour Gateshead bossed the game and the sending off changed the game. Truro at home a 3-1 win but Truro were decent and made it 1-1, we got fortunate as they looked knackered. Carlisle at home was good but I'd expect nothing less when they come to Pools having a go from the start. I've watched Pools 33 years and I can't remember a worse brand of football and I've seen some absolute shite at Pools. Even the happy clappers behind the goal weren't applauding at full time today. It'll be difficult to commit to a season ticket next season if he remains as manager. It really is a dire brand of football to watch

Calm down Gordon Lad....Keep taking the tablets kidda..... ;)

You speak a lot of sense though mate.

Yes, let's hope for a clear out in the Summer. Darrell Clarke as Manager and given the funds by the American Owner to build a Team to get out of this League.

Ha'way the Lads and Up the Pools!!

Erm what part of "I've been watching Pools for 33 years" did you not read or understand?. Blame my uncle who was a fans favourite for that, just the 280 appearances for Pools
Winger coming in from Chester for 6 figures??
Heard that one an hour ago. Worrying if it happens as it suggests this manager is being backed ahead of next season

Trigger wouldn't be a bad shout. Pete Wild is a name who should be linked as well.
