Was struggling with an injury going I to the tournament, Southgate messed up in not subbing him earlier and then not dropping him to recover when it was clear he was knackered

He shouldn't have played as much as he did but he kept denying he was injured when his back was clearly fucked -

Tuchel left him out of their final Bayern match as he had struggled with basic movement, and then Kane reports back to England as fully fit and Southgate didn't seem to be willing to overrule the player
