I just looked and Greavsie scored 220 of his 357 league goals in 321 Spurs appearances, Kane got 213 in 317 so barely owt between them.

Though one factor to consider is the goals per game overall in Greavise's era which was a lot higher, possibly due to the lack of subs until the mid 60s, which meant more goals to go around the players.

For Kane to match him in this era of less goals per game is a canny feat.

Greaves used to get the shit kicked out of him. Couldn't stop him scoring though.

His record as a goal scorer are just amazing. He has played at home and abroad and just settles wherever.

He is not a selfish player with a great number of assists.

34 game season. 1 less cup than England. Centre of Europe so even extreme European games aren't as far but hes still playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. If i was a player in my 30s id be spending a few seasons in Germany

Michael Owen would have definitely benefited from a couple of seasons in Germany

Owen never scored 20 league goals, can’t really be having a go at Kane.
