What do you want him to do? He has been asked to play deeper,he won most headers, won free kicks. Didn’t have the service or the support. What do you expect him to do? Take it on his chest and volley it in from 40 yards? He wasn’t great but he never had the opportunity to be.

f***ing give owa man! He was poor tonight but is a world class striker.
World Cup is high stakes stuff but champions league is still the best standard of football and he’s done well in that as well as the premier league which is as good a league as any in the world.
