He was looked at by Sunderland and others as he’s always been a goal machine winning county cups /leagues etc but he was only small physically and this day and age that’s the be all and end all.
He’s developing physically rather quick over the last couple of year and continued with the goals hence clubs coming to watch him more often.
fingers crossed for him and the rest of us he makes the grade at whatever level sunderland are at for his and our sake.Harry lives breaths and eats football /SAFC and from what I know of him will dedicate his life to this opportunity. It’ll not be for the want of trying.
Quite, anything less than a first would be quite embarrassing for an EnglishmanI'm a Sandy, marra.

How patronising was that .Most of us do speak very well, indeed many are articulate. We can also spell correctly, unlike many others....

Quite. Especially when he doesn't seem to know that an ellipsis only has three points...How patronising was that .

Then again, a question is traditionally followed by a question mark, marra.

I think Wallsend BC have had a few internal issues of late and are slipping down - I only deal with one year group (currently U10) and Wallsend really aren't the potent team they once were - lots more competition now of course. Plenty of kids get drafted into the academies at a young age but when they do they often get wrapped up and can no longer play for their club or school team - it's too much at such a young age and they often don't seem to make the grade and ultimately get released having given up much of their normal youth chasing the football dream. What happened to Wallsend Boys’ Club? Do NUFC hoover the best local players into their academy at an early age?

I am sure you are right but a lot of them will be disspirited due to being rejected and have other things like trying to get a job, education and girls (or even boys) taking their focus at that age. Not many have the resilliance to drop into non league and keep going. The academy system in this country is brutal and a huge number of more than decent players will be rejected before they ever realy fully developed or got a chance.I think Wallsend BC have had a few internal issues of late and are slipping down - I only deal with one year group (currently U10) and Wallsend really aren't the potent team they once were - lots more competition now of course. I reckon that loads of the kids that get released at 16-19 years of age could be moulded into cracking players - they are already top of their peer group, but many will just need the time to develop further.
He would get a game in their first team!Your right they where sniffing about.
I know Harry and the family personally. His Granda,Dad and all the family are Sunderland through and through and it’s been this kids dream to get his chance at Sunderland since he was a toddler.I remember his dad telling me when Harry was born that he hopes his boy one day plays for Sunderland’ in the Premier League.
I can guarantee this lad will put 100% in over the coming years to hopefully make it at SAFC.

Indeed - but being cynical, that photo in the South Shields article doesn't make him look like a natural footballer! Hopefully it was just the camera not capturing his best side!Good luck to Harry I hope he forges a successful career at Sunderland.
