He was very fast, but his skill level didn't match his speed, in my view. Mind, his attitude always seemed fust rate. I was born in Easington Colliery so I expected nee less. Hed class hair anarl. Nivva minded the Bomber but I always wished he'd been slightly better.

Nil nil at Oldham in September 1979 and then Brown was clean through but he decided to shoot from about 30 yards out. Ball flew over the bar.
