Only positive I can take from today is that Katich is in my fantasy team.

Borthwick and Muchall aside, a pretty poor show.
 
The first few balls of his last over apart, Borthwick has bowled brilliantly today. Surely it's only a matter of time before he gets another chance with England.

Still seems to bowl quite a few short balls whenever I see him, think he'd need to sort that out a bit or he'll be taken to the cleaners in international cricket. He can't be far off though.
 
I think Borthwick is a long way off another England call up. Wasn't that long ago he wasn't getting a game for Durham and was playing for CLS. Fair play for his responce though, bowling well.

He needs a lot more championship bowling under his belt but I can't think of many spin bowlers who look as threatening as he does in limited overs game, he always looks like taking wickets in the shorter format of the game, you just have to accept that like many leg-spinners, he will get a bit of tap from time to time.
