Hacksaw Ridge

I'm still appreciating Hacksaw Ridge after seeing it last week, sign of a real good fillum.

Just watched it. Really good film and an amazing true story I wasn't aware of.

We should have a movie reviews thread to put this sort of stuff into.

Excellent film. Combat scenes were spot on with no holds barred, similarly to the beach scenes in Pte Ryan. Uplifting as well, humbling to see a man want to do his duty whilst sticking steadfastly to his beliefs. Rare I would suggest in this day and age.

If only we had a movie review thread, to put all this type of stuff in.

Watched it last night, really good. Thought the odd thing was a bit far fetched but that's Hollywood.
Footage of the actual soldier at the end was a nice touch, what a bloke.

Watched this last night. Cracking film.

Based on a true story and without spoilers, think about that and it makes it better.

Enjoyed it as did Mrs.

Watched it at the pictures last night, loved it, couple of cheesy lines that was like something you'd hear in a video game but still mint

Ooo Esher, look at me etc..:)
:D
Aye but this was a bit different. About 50 seats. All very comfortable sofas with a little table. You could slouch in the sofas and there was footrests in front to put your feet up. You can take your booze in with you from the bar out front or they will deliver the food and drink to you. Real old world feel with a modern twist. Much better than the soulless modern multiplexes. I'm sure eshermackem will have been. Would go again.
