Guardian fans network season review

Because he is very young, has come through the ranks and shown on several occasions that he can play at this level. Despite some early games when he looked like a passenger, he has thrived. It's a nuanced take which.contrasts with the veteran Xhaka is how it reads to me. I personally wouldn't have highlighted him but I can see why she did and it is a valid point to make.
It's horseshit and not worthy of any sort of a mention whilst completely ignoring people have contributed massively to our season. That's a fact.

So many saying how crap the Spurs away following was, but they were pretty solid at the SoL I thought.
Perhaps they, like the players, had finally realised relegation as a possibility. By that point there were probably more committed fans getting the tickets as others decided to concentrate on their macrame rather than travel all the way to Sunderland to endure a defeat. Don't forget they'll have been excited to have a trip to the seaside too and a drink in mixed pubs that aren't home fans only

I'd like the non-binary view before I take sides, and anyone transitioning is more than welcome to air their opinions, for that's what they are ... I'm not furious YET 👍

She didn't really mention Rigg as a star, just as a symbol of the season, "Chris Rigg has been another symbol of the season, playing top-flight football with no fear." I guess she was trying to add nuance and show that a young player has developed during the season.

See above. By all means disagree but women can see and understand just as well as men so your dismissal says more about you than her.

The names you mention all stand out and Roefs has been magnificent.
On its own terms the season has to be 10/10. The blip we had was understandable. To compete and survive with plenty still to play for in the last game is beyond all expectation. Maybe 1 mark off for the awful display at Port Vale.
Much as I like Rigg and think he will be a huge player for us in coming seasons, there have been times when he has struggled this season. Why not mention, say, Ballard who has improved massively and bridged the gap between Championship and PL effortlessly if you want to add nuance?

It's subjective opinion, not fact otherwise there'd be nonpoint asking fans, they could just analyse boring data. However, you can dismiss opinion without making reference to her gender as it's irrelevant and actually devalues anything else you say on the subject. I get that you haven't caught up with women having valid opinions but you clearly don't get nuance. I would have picked out other players too but there isn't anything wrong with what she has written in the few words they have.

It's not nuance. It's a total irrelevance.

But crack on.

Our score seems a tad light imo but EM is a MLF and goes home and away so her opinion is as valid as any. I suspect using Rigg ‘as a symbol’ is emphasising the club’s continued policy to give young players a chance. He’s actually made 17 appearances this season so far so he hasn’t been as much as a bit part player as I thought.

Presumably she’d have been limited to X number of words, otherwise the likes of Roefs, Mukiele, Reinildo, Ballard etc etc etc would all get a mention! It’s staggering to think that out of the 14 players we signed plus the likes of Ballard, Hume, Isidor etc who were already at the club, only really Adingra and Masuaku could be in any way be considered duds.

Eleanor is good on wms, I’d probably have given the season a 9, obviously depending on what happens tomorrow, Rigg has been decent but other players have been a lot better Sadki for example, I think we forget how young the majority of this team is

What did I miss in Everton v Liverpool. The comments appear to be alluding to bother. Didn’t see any on telly, or read about any.
Think 8.5/10 for your season is a tad stingy mind.

Ironic that the Leeds fan doesn’t give time to compliment another set of fans, they’re so up their own arse, probably asked if he could vote for his own team first

Whilst I agree with a lot of what you say, 17 apps is probably the very definition of bit part in all honesty.
