Had a walk down to the ground yesterday (ended up in Newcastle lol). They've gone to work on the world cup stuff, and have to say it looks absolutely class. After this, the club could do with sprucing the place up a little.

Would like to see more cricket World Cup stuff around the town, supposed to be a pop up cricket shop happening soon, I understand why the fan zone is going to be in Durham

Was a fanzone in Newcastle which looks decent. Wife was watching the game yesterday waiting for me to finish my walk, sat on some deckchairs in the city centre with the big screen. Looked canny

Aye I got 8 for £16 each, after a long struggle to get any at all! Looking forward to it.

aye the wife suddenly fancied going and we checked the cheap seats last night and nowt was available. tried this morning and got 2 and it's now showing sold out again for the £16 tickets. It's a day out and chance to experience the CWC in Durham.

I'd tried for weeks to get 8 tickets and couldn't get any more than 6 in separate areas, then suddenly managed to get 8 on Thursday in the Pavilion. Should be a good day, I was there 20 years ago for Australia vs Bangladesh when the World Cup was last in England, was a beautiful day and great to experience the event.
