Constant threat, although I am not sure how it took until about 70 minutes to get a yellow card. He also nearly took Dan Neil’s shirt off his back and won a goal scoring free kick from it - suppose he’s one of those you hate to play against but would love on your team… I mean if only we had him through the academy or something… oh wait…

Problem is that under Beale we aren't a high-pressing team. We are deliberate and pick our moments, which often leads to us sitting and watching teams play out of the back. A lot of credit for his success is down to Carrick's ability to tailor his tactics to the players he has.
